Mirby is back with the 80s-funk-flavored pop track “I don’t care”
From the very first beat, you can hear the energetic vibe Mirby is known for. “I don’t care” is a funky pop song with a solid 80s funk DNA and an important message: spend your energy on what actually matters, and let the haters sail their own sea. It’s embarrassing to make others feel small – especially when someone is simply being brave and doing their best to take up space in the world.
Mirby has incredible flow, an amazing vocal, and an impressive ability to compose track after track that sounds great. She’s like a little bouillon cube packed with creativity, and you feel it every time she releases something new.
It doesn’t “only” show in her music. All the visual material around the release has that exact same vibrant energy, which makes everything feel like one coherent universe.
Two years ago, I had the pleasure of being at a music festival where she played, and the energy was released on stage as well. So all in all, she’s a full artist who nails every aspect.
“I don’t care” is a great, energetic pop track – and I think you should give it a listen.
