Glimtvis has thrown themselves into an ambitious project. A full-length album with 11 songs, made in Nashville (Tennessee, USA).
This album simply does all the right things. There's a common thread running through every song, while at the same time there's plenty of variation in the tracks – and it's just so unmistakably Glimtvis.
If there's one thing I really appreciate, it's authenticity. That was exactly the quality that made me fall in love with the emerging scene in the first place, because I think there's a higher degree of authenticity and genuineness in that scene specifically.
And Glimtvis proves this to perfection.
The album is packed with catchy rhythms, great lyrics, killer dynamics, and of course the two impressive vocals, which are both unusually strong on their own and together.
The album is epic from start to finish – and I think you should listen to it from start to finish.
